The LFM Basecamp at the East End Food Hub
Supporting Local Market Food Creators with Space, Community & Opportunity
What is the LFM Basecamp?
LFM BaseCamp is a dynamic resource hub by the Leslieville Farmers’ Market (LFM), designed to empower local food vendors, farmers, and artisans at the East End Food Hub. BaseCamp provides year-round access to professional facilities—commercial kitchens, storage, workspace, and more—helping market vendors and food entrepreneurs create, grow, and thrive beyond market day.
From seasoned vendors expanding their offerings to aspiring entrepreneurs ready to launch, BaseCamp offers the tools, support, and community to turn big ideas into lasting success. Here, the LFM’s vendors find the space and resources they need to bring their businesses to the next level.
Who is the Basecamp for?
LFM Basecamp serves the vibrant network of over 95 Leslieville Farmers’ Market vendors—from farmers and chefs to preservers and food producers—providing them with essential resources to help grow and streamline their businesses.
Basecamp offers two main pathways for those interested in joining:
Current LFM Vendors
-
Farmers, chefs, and food artisans working with LFM can access BaseCamp’s facilities to reduce logistical challenges, allowing them to focus on expanding their offerings and reaching more customers.
Emerging Entrepreneurs Program
-
New food entrepreneurs can apply for this program to grow their business with access to BaseCamp resources and a semi-regular placement at the Leslieville Farmers’ Market.
For those looking to join as a new vendor at LFM, Basecamp offers an invaluable way to minimize logistics costs while becoming a part of a supportive, local food network.
